石墨烯基工业防腐涂料的未来可期!

石墨烯(Graphene)是2004年由英国物理学家安德烈·盖姆和康斯坦丁·诺沃肖洛夫通过特殊方法从石墨中剥离石墨片,成功制备的仅由一层碳原子构成的拥有“无数世界之最”的神奇材料。石墨烯是由碳原子构成的新型单层片状结构的二维(2D)层状材料,具有稳定的sp2杂化六边形平面片状结构,每个晶格内有3个σ键,连接十分紧密,形成稳定的正六边形结构,而垂直于晶面方向的π键在其导电过程中起到了重要的作用,从而具备了理想的比表面积和阻隔性。
石墨烯是目前已知最薄、最硬的纳米材料,其薄膜只有1个碳原子厚度,300万层石墨烯薄膜叠起来只有1 mm厚。理论比表面积为2630 m2/g。作为强度材料,石墨烯的韧性极好,弹性模量为1.0TPa;其微观强度可达130 GPa,是钢的100倍、钻石的数倍,一片保鲜膜厚度的石墨烯,需一头大象的重量压在铅笔上才能戳穿。室温下石墨烯的热导率约为5×103W/(m·K),高于金刚石和碳纳米管。光学方面,单层石墨烯吸收2.3%的可见光,透过率为97.7%,几乎是透明的。同时,石墨烯具有高的热稳定性、化学稳定性以及优异的抗渗透性,可以有效地阻隔水和氧气等气体原子的通过。另外,石墨烯片层之间的剪切力较小,其摩擦系数比石墨更低,因此,石墨烯还具有优良的减摩、抗磨性能。
